Time for endoscopy!: After a trial of meds for a month or two without success, it is time to see a gastroenterologist. Endoscopy with any other appropriate tests may be needed. Check for H. pylori as well. Also, optimize weight and diet. Search this forum with the term reflux or GERD and find other suggestions for relieving symptoms.
