Sore arm maybe 2days: There is nothing unusual about Gardasil vaccine. It is a newer vaccine, so is just as safe as the meningococcal, hepatitis, or flu shots. Brief arm pain happens. Fainting after shots or blood draws has always happened to a few people in medical settings, so that's not news. In the US, 3000-4000 die each year from cervical cancer, meaning somebody's wife, daughter, or mother dies each 2.5 hours.
