I had got my 1st dose of gardasil 9 vaccine at 2021 april. after a year, i decide to get my 2nd dose now. i would like to know if the first dose give me certain protection since im still sexually active after getting the 1st dose. i will get 3 doses?

The level of protection gained is significant but would fade at some undetermined time unless the booster dose is taken. Protection is only provided against 9 strains represented in the vaccine if you were never exposed/infected by them prior to the vaccine. More than 2 doses would be at the discretion of your doc.
