A member asked:

Should adults 38 and 43 years old take gardasil vaccine? are there any benefits in doing so at this age? thanks?

In general, new HPV infection is uncommon at these ages and the vaccine normally is recommended only up to age 26. However, if at likely risk of new infection (e.g. newly single and dating), Gardasil likely would be of benefit. Discuss with your doctor.
