Maybe too drastic!: First, it can be hard to distinguish between truly recurrent PID from recurrent pain without new or persisting infection. Second, with time (and sometimes repeat antibiotics), usually this problem will eventually clear up. Don't give up your future fertility if you don't have to! Discuss with your gynecologist and get a second optinion if necessary. Good luck!
