I have 148 mm thyroid nodule.done fna. it's benign doctor gave me levothyroxine my tsh normal.nodule hadn't changed and side effects are torturing me?

Hypothyroid?: You should not be on levothyroxine unless your thyroid level was low, as indicated by an elevated TSH level. If you were started on levothyroxine to "shrink" the nodule or keep it from enlarging, studies show that this does not work, and is not recommended.
