15 yr old recently found hard bone like immobile lump on back of head, ear infection last wk no other symptoms.

Enlarged lymph node: He may have inflammation at the nape of his neck after his ear infection, since his lymph nodes there can enlarge. If the lump enlarges after 1-2 weeks with increased redness, discharge or tenderness, it should be seen and treated for infection by his MD.
