Very Likely: Painful bumps under the skin are commonly swollen lymph nodes. They become swollen when infection is nearby and in your case it is likely from the sinus infection. Give it time and the pain should calm down. You might consider taking some over the counter pain medications if it becomes too uncomfortable.
