Trigeminal Nerve: The trigeminal nerve (Cranial Nerve V) trifurcates into 3 sensory divisons- ophthalmic, maxillary, and mandibular nerves. Your symptoms would involve the maxillary division. There are many causes (trauma, infectious- herpes zoster, upper tooth disease...). I would suggest a visit with a Neurologist to address the issue in greater detail. Good luck and well wishes!
