Tenosynovitis: How mobileis the finger? There is concerned about infection or tendinitis. Based on the mobility of the finger and if there's any deficits of motion, we would consider getting an MRI. If the area is tender or red and painful then there is concern about infection, if there's any history of trauma we would be concerned about tendon tears or avulsions.
