A ct scan showed i have a granuloma in my spleen. my doctor wants me to do a laparoscopy and maybe a biopsia. is this necessary?

It is a good: idea to find the source of the granuloma...a number of infectious/inflammatory conditions are associated with this pathologic finding! Hope this is helpful! DrZ
