It may be normal: Newborn babies may swallow lot of gas while feeding and that may cause some colic and a crying baby. If you have a colicky baby you may want to burp the baby more often in between feeds as needed, which may help decrease the swallowed gas. Also taking the baby on a stroller ride after feeds may also help. If all of this does not help, you may want to see your pediatrician.
