A member asked:

I am on an ssri for 2 years. how can i not need it anymore ? specially that i think my depression is related to gluten allergy discovered recently

Depends: If you are working closely with the person prescribing the medication they may decide it is okay for you to gradually come off. Don't assume the gluten is the only or major issue. Any gluten related nerve injury can persist ( be permanent) if it is part of the cause. Some that work with the gluten issue suggest a variety of supplements to support recovery.
