Not exactly.: Clonazepine does not affect the synthesis of serotonin, but it does decrease its use in the brain. See this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2418652 Also, for a good discussion of the right & wrong uses of Clonazepine, see a good article (at least today) on it on Wikipedia. Taking evekeo,wellbutrin,luvox,klonopin (clonazepam) and getting headaches. Could I be at risk for serotonin syndrome?
On lorazepam, urines every 3 months bc history of drugs (on Suboxone for 11 yrs) Last screen shows positive for Klonopin - I have NOT taken Klonopin. Only thing thats changed is supplements i.e. serotonin and gaba "brain food". What could cause this?
