Look Deeper: A wise mentor told me 20 years ago, that when a patient's symptoms don't improve - expand the search and look much deeper, something is being overlooked. If a patient returns to the ER a 3rd time, strongly consider admitting them and obtaining consultations from other doctors. Any person with the symptoms mentioned is concerning and warrant prompt reevaluation.
