How do i treat cradle cap for my baby?

Depends: Much of cradle cap id due to retained skin flakes that are not susceptible to the mild ingredients in "tear free" baby shampoos. Active washing with a simple dandruff shampoo will often do the trick, as well as avoiding baby oil on the scalp or other treatments.A soft cuticle brush to help scrub in the shampoo helps, but keep it away from the eyes.

Baby oil: Apply baby oil to scalp 1/2 hour prior to shampooing and then shampoo and rinse. The scales should loosen and then use a soft brush to brush out the scales. Doing this for a few days should help. If not improving, please see your child’s doctor.
