65yo male patient presented with 1 month history of rt gynaecomastia with a tender lump under the areola which i think could be a breast bud. i organized bloods including hormone tests and a breast uss. what should i do if these come back normal?

Well: If things are normal that is somewhat reassuring but if the lump is still there you will have a better idea of what this issue is after the sono. At that point the next step would be a biopsy.

Follow up : Gynaecomastia can occur but it’s important to rule out breast cancer , liver problem , hormonal Problems . If everything is normal then regular routine follow up with GP and self examination would be recommended.
