Hyperthyroid: Excess thyroid hormones have a stimulant effect on the heart. Women with an underlying cardiac disease will have chest pain when these hormones aggravate it. See a cardiologist or go to the ER. Chest pain can be dangerous or it can be as benign as heartburn. No way to know until you get checked out.

Hyperthyroid: A hyperthyroid condition causes a rapid heartbeat and may cause your heart to beat up sgainst your chestwall causing chest pain as well as a burning sensation. Also your medication needs to be evaluated.
