Heavy breathing . my chest feels tide. if i do cough my chest burn and phlegm is loosen . did use cough syrup it doesnt work . what can be the problem?

Tight chest: I assume these symptoms followed a viral upper respiratory tract infection. Chest tightness and breathing difficulties developed with tracheobronchitis. Wheezing would indicate an asthmatic component. If you want to loosen phlegm, drink liquids and take an expectorant type of cough syrup like plain robitussin.
