No: No, this should heal in due time. If you have problems swallowing or persistent pain, then see your doctor, but this should resolve on its own.

Otolaryngologist: If there is an open area in the throat.,it is best evaluated by an Otolaryngologist. He/she will assess the area in question and advise you. No treatment may be necessary. In the meantime I recommend warm, salt water gargles.

Depends: How did you get a cut in the throat? If it was self-inflicted, it is a cause for concern and you should see a doctor. Otherwise you may watch and wait. If you get an ulcer, or bleeding, enlargement of nodes in the neck, fever, difficulty in swallowing or weight loss, see a doctor. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
