Nail Fungus : There are many fungi that grow in toenails. These are generally hard to cure. Treatment range from topical to ingested medicines to laser lights to burn them. Typically the nails grow slowly so yours will likely grow back. See either your doc or a podiatrist for treatment.

Will take a while: In humans, nails grow at an average rate of 3 mm (0.12 in) a month. Fingernails require three to six months to regrow completely, and toenails require twelve to eighteen months. Actual growth rate is dependent upon age, sex, season, exercise level, diet, and hereditary factors. An infected nail will take longer but unless the cuticle is destroyed it will grow back.

Fungal infection : Fungal infections can be treated with topical or oral medications. Most people need treatment for 3-6 months before infection clears up . Infected nail might grow slower than other nails but it should grow .
