Pregnancy risk: There are several different types of thrombophilia which are associated with early loss of pregnancy. Some can be managed with blood thinners. Best to see a hematologist before becoming pregnant, especially if have history of loss during pregnancy.

Thrombophilia: Thrombophilia can have risks for mother and pregnancy outcome. You should meet with either a hematologist or a high risk pregnancy specialist (perinatologist) to discuss your risks and outline a plan for management of your next pregnancy before you are pregnant.
