I am having a flare up of gastritis. i recently went to the er because a prong from a plastic fork broke off and i swallowed it. i was cleared though by gi doctor there. the stress may have caused a flare up. thoughts on if there is a connection?

Fork: I have been practice 20 years and never seen a plastic fork cause a problem. It should pass in a day. I would treat gastritis conservatively with antacid and or H2

36yrs old. Gallbladder removed. Then EDG for continued pain. Doc found gastritis and also dilated my esophagus. I'd never had issues swallowing. After I started having acid reflux. Has continued for 3 months. Will it go away or is this permanent now?
