Minor bleeding/preg: Minor bleeding can occur at about 7-8 weeks of pregnancy when the ovary does not continue to produce progesterone, and the placenta has not yet made enough to replace what is made by the ovary. This by itself should stop, as the placenta continues to increase its production of progesterone.
