If HCG levels are rising, an ultrasound next week should show a heartbeat if things are going well.If the levels are falling, this is most likely a blighted ovum/inevitable miscarriage.These usually happen because something was wrong with the baby that would have kept it from being a normal baby and not because of any thing u did
