Depends: There are a variety of ways to check. A physical exam can detect some indication. Blood or urine tests can look for marker enzymes or chemicals that reflect injury, A CT (radiation) can indirectly examine the organs as can an MRI (no radiation). The need for or value in looking would be guided by a history of the events that make you think there could be a problem.
