Can blood in stool be dry or is it always liquid ?

Generally liquid: If you can identify blood by red streaks, those are almost always wet. If the bleeding is higher in the GI tract it gets mixed with the stool and sometimes digested giving a black tinted stool. All elements of the stool are wet to some degree.

Should I be concerned with blood in stool its not actually mixed in but the last two times I've had a BM there's been blood. Also its been solid to start off with and at the end its soft/liquid?
