A member asked:

Hello i have a 9 year old that has become very clingy, she doesn't want me to spend time with my husband or my 4 year old. i love my kids very much, but lately i find that i can not keep my cool. do my kids need therapy?

Maybe: I see this sometimes in normal kids who witness something on TV (murders, car crashes, etc.) & internalize the fear they may loose a parent. It is also seen if there was a recent death in the family. You both need a way to talk this out & a therapist may help you learn the skillset needed & help the child at the same time. Kids/life does not come with an instruction manual. Seek help when you need
