A member asked:

The skin behind and under my tonsils is white. i know its the skin itself because i can see veins running through it i think it may be the palatopharangeal arch? i have mild throat pain as well, just wondering if its anything to be concearned about

Does not add up: There is no skin under or near the tonsils. If your throat does not hurt and there is no lump, you may leave it alone. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
