Prescribed metformin 500mg twice a day with a meal. i eat three meals a day. why wouldnt i take it three times a day?

Not related to meals: it is not meant to regulate your blood sugar for the short term as short acting insulin, it's dosing is twice a day for the immediate release form and once a day for the extended release form, better to be taken with meals, not on an empty stomach, wish you wellness
