Needs investigation.: Question: did you have an episode of this max HR while you were wearing the EKG monitor? If so, then that should have provided an answer. If not, then we’ve missed it and you’d really then benefit from an event recorder, a unit that you can wear for upwards of a month and with which you can log episodes of this high HR specifically. Otherwise, blood testing for thyroid and such may help.

How do you FEEL?: My colleague has given a good list of possibilities but this can simply be your normal heart, especially if you are athletic. If you feel healthy and have no cheap pain, shortness of breath, palpitations or syncope, I suspect that you'll come up healthy. Do get that rhythm monitored since the question has been raised.
