Cortisol which is the best way to measure cortisol if the objective is to measure the level of chronic stress. blood, urine or saliva. ?

Good question: All can have there plus and minuses. The serum blood test is best done at 8 in AM. This is when cortisol is most consitent as to wheter it is high or low. Urine is usually best measured over 24hours. Sputum is easy to obtain, and is reliable.

Cushings syndrome, is urine sample and testorone the only way to get a positive? I understand that cortisol can measure different in blood.
