Your pulse pressure: could be a sign of aortic insufficiency. This would be an unusual occurrence at your age and may just be due to your normal physiology (or perhaps an inaccurate reading.) For reassurance, see a health care provider for an examination or even an echocardiogram.

Pulse pressure: Widened pulse pressure, at rest, is often due to increased stiffness of the arteries seen in older patients. Another cause is a stiffness of the left ventricle which reduces blood flow from the left atrium into the ventricle. 150/60 shows systolic hypertension. A cardiologist is best qualified to evaluate, advise and treat you. He /she may also have other thoughts on widened pulse pressure.
