Carbamide Ear Kit: You are describing Cerumen (Earwax) impaction. I would recommend you purchase an OTC Ear Wax removal kit with Carbamide Peroxide and use it to clean your ear out followed by flushing with clean warm water. If you are still having problems after cleaning your ear, you need evaluation by a physician to make sure you do not have another issue that needs treatment.

Drops/oil: Wax can be softened using simple home remedies like olive oil or almond oil (apply 5-6 drops and lie with the affected ear up for 10 mins). If the wax is hard or impacted you may like to buy a product like Waxsol or Cerumol from the pharmacy which softens and partly dissolves the wax. Sometimes it is necessary to have it suctioned see website for clinics: http://www.earhealth.co.nz
