Diff appearance: hives are raised bumps that are transient as they come and go....blisters are fluid filled and stay

Different: Blisters are usually small and contain fluid (usually clear) , may rupture and drain leaving a residual lesion for a few more days. Hives do not drain and are of variable sizes, usually itchy, and subside in less than 24 hrs without any residual marks.
