A member asked:

Please don't tell me breast is best because i can't breastfeed. is powdered formula safe for my baby? or should we continue to use ready-to-drink?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Breast is best, but: No worries. Any commercially available baby formula from a fairly well-known manufacturer should be just fine. Normal babies can use "normal" or "regular" formula, plus there are special formulas made for special situations. Ready-to-drink formula is mistake-proof, but heavy to carry (it's liquid) and more costly. Powder formula needs correct mixing... so make sure the instructions are followed.
