Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Yes: Hypothyroidism is definitely a possibility. It's best to have an evaluation by your physician which would include a thyroid panel among other tests to look for anemia, infection, depression or a cardiomyopathy,for example.

Could be hypothyroid: Make an appt with your MD. Lab testing may include T4 and TSH, and serum cortisol. Have you added any new medications to your program, especially estrogens, birth control pills, steroids, or testosterone. Give your MD a list of all medications you are taking.
