Anxiety: Going without your klonopin will lead to withdrawal. Ativan is a similar medication to klonopin, so taking some would lessen or eliminate the withdrawal depending on what dose you take. That is the hard part. You need to get a proper prescription from a physician before experimenting with this medication. If you take too large a dose for your body, it can be dangerous.

Yes: klonopin and ativan are both benzodiazapines and so ativan (aka lorazepam) could substitute for klonopin and mitigate any physiological withdrawal symptoms, particularly dangerous events like seizures. Long term, you do need to establish with a regular practitioner.
