I have the influenza a and i took mucinex serve congestion and cough at 7:00 a.m. it's now 10:07 a.m. i am exhausted but can't sleep because my anxiety is so bad, can i take ativan 0.5 mg? i've only had 3 hours of sleep and i'm scared.

Over the counter: Monitor your temperature, treat fever, rest and hydration are advised. Adding additional medications may result in side effects. If you have a persistent or high fever, please see your PCP. Nasal saline rinses and elevating the head of the bed may reduce post nasal drip.

Should be ok: Taking 0.5mg Ativan-assuming it is your prescription should be fine. keep in touch with your doctor however to monitor your progress -
