Diagnosed with adhd in 7th grade. took medicine to keep me on task until 11th grade. my mother let me to stop taking it because it suppressed my appetite. my boss has written me up x2 in 2 months for doing the wrong things. mom says it helps.yes?no?

Hard to say: About half of those kids who are labeled ADD and respond to medication will continue to have attention problems as adults. About 2/3 stop taking the meds because they realize they can adapt and do without or don't like the side effects. You may or may not benefit from continued treatment, but this could only be determined by a proper evaluation.
