I have a steam burn on my leg from the oven...what would be the best way to treat it?

Burn: Clean with warm water and soap; Pat dry. Apply an antibacterial ointment like bacitracin; cover with loose sterile gauze; use paper tape to hold gauze in place. If blister forms, do not pop it as it provides protection to underlying burnt skin. For more severe or extensive burns go to the hospital emergency room. You will be asked when your last tetanus booster was administered.

Well: Now you need to know what degree burn it is. Silvadene works great. You should see doctor. Get checked and then treatment with your cream. You may also need a tetanus shot.
