Dry Socket Care: Good day; You need to have the socket curetted to reintergrate the clot, irrigated with chlorhexidine and a paste placed into socket to initiate a new blood clot. Simple, quick and efficient.

No: The Dentist or specialist who removed the tooth can help resolve your dry socket in much less time than can be achieved by just taking pills. He/she is responsible for your post-surgical care. Please return for care.

Dry Socket: A dry socket is not treated with antibiotics. It is a condition where the blood clot dislodged from the wound, resulting in exposed bone. Dry socket paste is usually placed on a gauze strip by your surgeon and inserted into the wound. The paste eases the pain and promotes healing.
