MULTIFACTORIAL: Muscle cramps can occur from a variety of causes- electrolyte shifts, medications, lack of sleep, local blood flow impariments, dehydration and neuromuscular disorders. IN the short term, drink some fluids, it your kidneys are okay you can try potassium, magneuim and calcium supplments and try stretching out your cramped muscles Tonic water or quinine might help.see a doc in person for workup.
