Costochondritis..?: Chest pain can be from chest wall( ribs , muslces, tendons), lungs, stomach, and heart. If pain is sharp and chest tender on pressure - most lilkely source is inflammation between ribs as any " join strain' - " cotochondritis. with deep breath may hurts as chest is stretching. It may be result of new exercise or just sitting too long or driving. Ibuprofen and ice may help. If other symptoms see MD.
