A member asked:

I have been referred to a gynae as a result of persistent pelvic pain. should i change my appointment because of periods being due that day? not sure if this will interefere with the exam. same time i am in pain and anti-inflammatories don't help.

Go to appointment: You need to go to the scheduled appointment at the time you are in pain and on your period. The GYN MD can still assess your problem and have a better idea of its' impact on your persona. The only thing that can't be done is a pap smear if you are bleeding heavily.
