How long?: If this occurs within the past couple of weeks, you likely have the flu. If the symptoms started within 48 hrs prior, contact your doctor for anti-flu medication which may hasten your recovery. Antibiotic is not usually useful but you may need a Rx for a cough suppressant from your doctor.
