A lipoma is a fat tumor. It is not considered to be malignant. Usually they are managed by observation and if they do not enlarge, then no treatment. If they are a cosmetic difficulty, you can have them removed, but you will have a scar. Lipomas are not gender specific and occur in people older then 20.
