Could be: and you don't want to wait on that, please take your son to Urgent Care or ER, he needs to be evaluated and may need IV fluids and other medications to control his symptoms, wish you both wellness

Maybe/not: If you can keep him drinking enough to pee every 6 hours he is adequately hydrated. If more than 8 hrs between he is getting dry. Influenza B is well known for having focal pain in the calf (lower leg) muscles.
