I am 16 and i was wondering if i didn't want to do a blood test and my parents do can i tell the doctor not to do it?

Emancipated ?: In the US, many states allow a minor to petition the court to become emancipated at 16, meaning they want to control their own affairs. It requires that you relinquish residence with your parents and live on your own dime, but it is possible. If you are not an emancipated minor your health care/testing decisions fall to your parents. You work it out with them. Don't dump it on the doc.
