Neither is: a "good idea"..but in most cases a 6 month expired tablet has full strength...the REAL QUESTION is .are you taking this ONLY when your sugar is high???/ This is NOT the way to take Invokana! You need to have a frank discussion with the medical professional who is treating your Diabetes! Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
